Who's watched PLANE - Gerard Butler? 2023

Just saw it.

 

Not bad.

Thoughts?

 

What kind of plane was it?

Yeah, I could look it up but just to socialise with the flying community.

 

It has the rear ramp for passengers.

2 engine at the end.

 

I suspect L10-11 or a DC.... something.

The exterior shots are of an MD-80, but the interior shots are of different aircraft. No film watcher knows what a commercial aircraft cockpit looks like, exactly! 😄

Wasn't a bad watch if you're prepared to gloss over the obvious errors.  Gerard is usually pretty good for a bit of entertaining violence.

Watched it a few days ago.

Spat the dummy when they lined up on the runway at 250KIAS & 40,000' on the PFD, and being 800NM from Singapore on the ND when they're departing from Singapore....

Still, not a baaaad movie, but anyone who knows more than a poofteenth about aviation would cringe at the cockpit and related scenes.
