it will be interesting to find out the cause of the engine failure. A Sling went down on the Beach North of Coffs about a year ago. It suffered a catastrophic engine failure & like this one suffered no airframe damage. It had to be airlifted by helicopter off the beach

Great outcome. Looks like one of Goflys Slings. Thankfully its not often that a student gets a real demo of a forced landing.
