Might have been sanding with sand blasters.  Who knows - as a static display the paintwork's not going to be going anywhere at mach 2.

Ironic! The septic tanks, pretty much did all they could to shoot down Concorde, short of actually firing a missile and now they have one on display - such is life & politics

Imagine the door coming off an SST at hypersonic speeds.
