Receiver / Scanner Required For Both Aviation and Maritime VHF Transmissions

Is anyone able to suggest a reasonably priced scanner / receiver that is able to be used for both aviation and maritime VHF transmissions. Suggestions as to a suitable external aerial also appreciated.
