The really UGLY strake  fitted in front of the horizontal stab interests me. I understand it's got something to do with spin recovery, But no pilot I know ever had difficulty recovering the standard plane. In fact some used to recover to a stipulated heading. (I'm not one of those, though)  Nev

Agreed it looks horrible. I've never seen this on any Tigers in Australia or NZ
