Great video! Thanks for posting. I have always liked the Hurry just as much as the Spit - just as iconic IMO.

Yes the Spitfires was the glamour machine but the Hurricane outnumbered the Spitfire 2 to 1 in the Battle of Britain, shot down enemy aircraft by a 3 to 2 margin & on an average morning 63% were serviceable compared to 37% of Spitfires. There have been many comparisons made since 1940 but it seems that in terms of which was best the jury is forever out. Most historians have come to the conclusion that in the BoB they complemented each other to defeat the Luftwaffe.
