Two with spinal injuries after chopper crash

The pilot and passenger of a Huey helicopter received spinal injuries when the helicopter crashed into mangroves off Curtis Is near Rockhampton.

 

The pilot had not submitted a flight plan so they were not discovered till 36 hours later after luggage was discovered and a search initiated.
