John Glenn, first US astronaut to orbit the Earth, has passed at the age of 95.

Absolute legends as was Allan Shepard before him.We use that word legends many times,but words cant describe these guys,Their missions never tried and tested apart from Yuri Gagarin just beating them,no fancy wiz bang computers,sitting in tight cramped sardine liked conditions,as were the mercury capsules.What a life to be celebrated.

Talking about rockets being supplied buy the lowest bidder,spare a thought for this poor unfortunate cosmonaut,the late Vladimir Komorov,a real victim of Russian roulette from the space race
