There were 3? Flying around the New England with Konig 4 cyl engine. Robbie Beard was the butcher I think you were talking about and there were 2 others based in Armidale, I think one is still in Armidale, it hasn't flown in many years. The bloke built a Cygnet, it hasn't flown I think.

a 1982 Invader MK 2 ( not yet flying)

A 1984 Modified Chinook ( just finished rebuild and flying)

A 1995 Nieuport 11c.1. ( flying)

A 1987 LW-1 Lightwing ( flying serial 4. And original pointy cowl box back)

Should pick up a Winton jackaroo in next few weeks 🙂

Hope to pick up enough parts to rebuild my fav U/L. The wheeler scout over next couple months

All planes will feature in a movie I'm working on 🙂

Always admired the Nieuport,  how does it fly? What sort of performance? 503?

I was about 7 years old when dad went to Bundarra to pick up the plane.  I think the butchers plane was white with a red stripe. I’ve put messages up on the Nelson community page to see if someone would know anything. I was in The Australian Air League on the Gold Coast and we put the plane in the Tropicarnival in 1989.
