I wouldn't believe anything in the Ballarat Courier, their reporting has been a farce recently.

All depends on the helicopter, if it was that big bugger in the background, I'm surprised it didn't blow away a few hangars as well!

I fly out of Ballarat a bit. I have looked at this plane a few times previously. It has been sitting on the grass near the bowser for years with its interior rotting and recently, no prop. Apparently not tied down, happened on that really windy 50kt+ Monday a couple of weeks ago. First suspect was helicopter but I think possibly just an empty plane and a heck of a lot of wind. Top of tail bent, windscreen smashed, rotating beacon destroyed. Flipped end to end.
