thank you both, I have been speaking with the New Zealand Lycoming Rep, he said the o and the io engines have now been fitted with a champion solid state ignition system and that these items are now flowing to the dealers. He also said that the io engine is not available as the there is no injection systems avialable.
He told me that tecnam have agree to fit Lycoming engine to their machine,

Hi Steve, I've also ordered a brumby 610, mine isn't far away so I'm looking forward to flying it. I'm based around Bendigo Victoria. What I've seen so far is impressive, I'll add a post when I get it home and stretched it's wings a bit. Andrew

It all depends on what you mean "Good"...there is a flight planner of a kind that is free here on the site under Pilot Tools...there is also this one which is an excel spreadsheet from Airborne:
thanks Ian, I wish to use a couple different systems, so i can find what I need in a planner etc

is there a good free flight planner available?

Tony, may be I will have to obtain some hints from your wife for my colour scheme as I am finding it the most dificult part.We have done 170 hours and the aircraft has been as far as Mount Isa in its travels, our aircraft is 19-5364 that is featured in the video on the Brumby site.I have not flown the 610, the 600 is a beautiful thing to fly.My wife designed the colour scheme on our's.
Tony.
