onetrack Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I think my first experience of seeing a jet fighter, was having the Vampires from Pearce air base (W.A.) roaring over our farm at low altitude in pairs, when I was about 6 (1955). They were pretty impressive to a 6 yr old. 3
