It's hard enough to fly a level formation with different aircraft, they make formation aerobatics look easy...........it's not!

This aussie group in relatively cheap RV aircraft put on an amazing display. Have seen them practicing at our airport.

"Relatively cheap" 😁 Depends on your circumstance's I suppose, 150k+ (some spend 100k just on the panel and avionics) is not my idea of cheap.

Relative to ex military or current military aircraft  RV's are cheap.
