I wasn't confused. I don't think you would describe the balloon crashing as a 'fall'. 

 

In any case, I wonder what could have happened? I've been in a hot air balloon. And while it did give me the Willie's a little (believe it or not I'm not great with heights 😄) the side of the basket was pretty high.

In the newspapers, they put the suicide prevention information and phone numbers at the bottom of the story. That should tell you what they think is going on from the very start.

 

Mind you, the media probably asked if he had a return ticket or he had brought one way only  @^#$@&

They are reporting it as a suicide.
