Lithium Phosphate battery Fire Extinguisher to use

While these batteries dont have a habit of catching fire like their high capacity Lithium Ion cousins, this is useful

 

The MSDS recommends use a CO2 extinguisher for fire fighting NEAR these  batteries

 

and fire fighting sites recommend an ABC or BC extinguisher / dry chemical  for Lithium Ion batteries in general.

Or Sodium Carbonate powder....
