I have been flying an  Eurofly Flash Ligth for the past 5 years, now in the process to upgrade to a Zenair 601XL-B.

Hi Jordi, welcome to the forums.

I flew out of Girona Airport in a Bristol Britannia a few days after the airport opened, after holidaying in Sant Feliu back in 1965.

That goes to prove how old iv'e become.

Good luck with the Zenair upgrade. You might find it a lot hotter to fly with it's bubble canopy in the Spanish sun, whereas the flash should have given you a bit of shade with it's high wing.

I'm actually not based on Girona, but on Viladamat, an small ultralight airfield 36 km NE from LEGE.

A Catalonian! Welcome, Jordi! I know a retired English friend living in Figueres, he is ex-E.S.A. That is nice country, I like Spain. I was surprised to see how much of inland Spain resembles many parts of Australia.

The numbers of olive groves and cork tree plantations in Spain is amazing.
