baumy Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 I have to do a presentation on an issue of choice that has occurred since September last year. I have found the fuel one but don't know how old it is and don't particularly want to do it. Anyone have any good topic ideas?
Spin Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Not sure if I follow what you're after entirely, however the issue of aviation medicals is quite topical with the new RPL apparently about to become available. You could explore why medicals are called for, how effective they are (there was another recent incident where a commercial pilot died on a flight) and why it is that they may be done away with in certain circumstances. Compare the risks in a private flight versus cars travelling a metre away from another car with a closing speed of 200kmh plus......
