Strange..............

Was watching Flightradar24 as my daughter & family were returning home from here to Mackay. They were delayed for an hour at Newxastle & have been further delayed at Brisbane. Even the Pilots/Attendants are waiting at the gate with them.

 

Whilst I was looking at the Radar trying to see when they depart I noticed this flight (screen snapshot below). The AC they flew from Newcastle to Brisbane on, a Fokker 100, was to fly to Rockhampton but Radar shows it has done a U turn & heading back to BNE. I'm not into plane spotting so someone who is might have a clue. The WX doesn't appear to be as bad there as around BNE atm.
