The scanner reflects part of the texture unfortunately and camera got a spot of reflection too. It is one of my prized posessions in my study. Sixties

I have scanned my smaller ones quite OK,except, I did a series of night freighter paintings with dark night backgrounds...... ugh !! They had SO much glint on the high gloss varnish,that I should really have photographed them with a polarising filter.
