Spotted the story above, on the net. Great outcome! I don't imagine the beaches were too inviting, given the very high tides and storm surf which has resulted in bathing being banned all along the SEQ coastline. I know here on the Gold Coast there are metre plus scarps carved into the sand.

Its funny, I would think that somebody that didnt know anything about Aviation.Would still know what a Tiger Moth looked like.I guess calling it a bi plane, means that he couldnt get it wrong.
