Red Bull Air race returns to Perth

Any one planning to come to Perth for the Red Bull Air Race, here are some tips, book now for accomodation at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, its right near the Air strip and good viewing point. South Perth ferry does not run during the weekend of the air race, buses are used from City Bus Terminal to South Perth, Personally, North side is best as south side gets far too crowded,(over crowed ) the Langley Park Air Strip, there is a road (River Side Drive, beside it, closed to all Vehicles ) and grassed area with trees all along between airstrip and the river, a short walk past the end of the strip from your hotel to river, great viewing, not so crowded, i'll be there too, North side is best,. All FREE. (No Grog allowed) The Runway, the East end is right near the suggested Hotel, so is the river. Sat Morning about 8-9am is open to public to view Aircraft in Hangars, the East end of Air strip is great for taking pics close up of AC. Enjoy your visit if one is coming over for it.
