Guest Chainsaw Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I was in the house (in socks, no shoes) and heard a plane. Well what does any red-blooded plane spotter do I ask?? You run outside and have a look of course. Oh, I saw a Cessna Bird Dog - Country Energy line inspection plane coming up the valley towards me checking my power line. Automatically, I turned and ran FAST 50 metres up the hill to the shed to get the camera, turn it on, and fire away. Just like last year the wx was rubbish with low cloud threatening rain. I did get in a wave though. Turns out to be the same plane as last year with the same observer. You may find of interest that this plane is now on our new TAA site banner (just under the .net bit.
