For everyone flying at night in NSW beware of PolAir they now have approval to operate with "lights off"

 

Vic police do this also.......

If people are flying around and monitoring the appropriate freq's and actually taking in what's going on around them it should not be a problem.

Thats right Darren ..... Army Blackhawks have been flying around Sydney for ages now during darkness night using NVG's and without displaying external lights .. It's quite a sight seeing one at low level over a built up area at night with just a very faint red nav beacon .
