Well I drove down to Taupo (about 300km from Auckland) on Sunday for the Taupo Rescue Helicopter Open Day. Absolutely well worth it with the Search and Rescue, Coastguard, Fire Brigade, Ambulance and Rescue helicopters putting on an awesome display. Here are some of my favourites.
