Aah my friend a whole new lesson on its own! Firstly, you need this software:

Then, you should have a proper antenna. You can find some info on this here:

A little bit of fiddling Robbo but well worth the results. Here are a couple I decoded last year.

Here is one I did just now of NOAA 17. Not that good as I have not got the right antenna up but you can see a little bit of the cloud causing all this rain here in NSW and parts of QLD.
