Not a competition photo this , it would be too easy . A Bristol Britannia taken at Duxford in England around the early 90's . If anyone is out near Cambridge , it's a must to visit this fantastic aviation museum .

The Britannia looks cool.

 

A real aircraft, none of this flying computer crap in the air nowadays. (One reason I'm not really looking for an airline job anymore...)

i love the old Piper Warriors with the typical 6 pack adf maybe a VOR or 2, transponder and a radio

 

THAT"S A REAL AIRCRAFT!!!

Yes, a beautiful looking propliner, even if it does burn kerosene.

 

However, let's not forget the problems they had with engine inlet icing which, IIRC, limited the conditions they were cleared to fly in, plus the following (lifted from Wikipedia..)

 

"Fourteen Type 175s were lost with a total of 365 fatalities between 1954 and 1980"

 

Still an attractive aeroplane?
