Todd M Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 Had Snowy Hydro South Care fly over just a few minutes ago, and as it flew over the radio crackled and you could hear 'track 40 degrees west...' or the like come over. Makes me wonder how often something like this would come on, as I would have presumed it was from South Care seeing it was flying over at the time!!

I especially like the Dauphin's in the Child Flight Livery that flies over often, has a distinct noise that you can hear a mile off and know exaclty which Chopper it is (SouthCare Bell or Child Flight Dauphin). Oh and BTW This was on normal radio, FM104.7. Not scanner or anything, was just on normal radio and it cut in.
