Fighter over my place

I am used to hearing aircraft on their way in and out of Canberra, but I just heard a nice fighter jet flying around. Could tell by the whispy noises it makes when flying fast, sounded very nice. Too bad there is so much cloud cover out here, could not see it. Dunno what it was or where it was from unfortunently
