Had an uneventful flight from the Gold Coat on Tue 23rd, Jan. As we landed and taxied away, I noticed multiple planes lined up on the taxiways. There was also a fire engine following behind a virgin plane. Once parked and the door seal was opened, an acrid smokey or chemical smell rushed into the cabin causing all the passengers to comment. A plane that had left Gold Coast 30 mins or so earlier than us, arrived well after us, making me think it may have been held in a holding pattern.

 

Anyone hear of any incidents?
