Guest Glenn Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 According to the local news tonight, REX has retired one of their Metro's. They referred to it as a Metro 23. They showed it taxiing with a fire engine on either side of the taxi way spraying a symbolic salute. Couldn't catch the rego.
Uncle Chop Chop Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Great. What is to happen to the Aircraft now? Will it be put on show or will it go to another Airline? I can remember my 1st flight on REX was on a Metro 23 and it was a nice smooth ride. 1 I took 3 other times after that.
