sixtiesrelic Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 Mooched down to Redcliffe to give a bloke a hand with bagging his Auster''s wings today. Noted this beauty about to start and go off on the test flight for it's brand new engine. Naturally I concentrated more on the video camera, but snapped these off for you. He was a bit tense about doing the test flight and kept close to the aerodrome for a while to make sure everything was running sweet before heading off. The way they run engines in, these days is to run them hard for about an hour rather than nursing them.
