Stearman plane seen at Temora and on Jag

I was just channel surfing pay TV and happened to stop on the US TV show Jag. They were flying in what I believe to be a stearman bi-plane and I remembered seeing the exact same one at Temora on August 28th. I'm pretty sure it's the same one. I didn't get a photo but if you take a look at http://messageboard.theaussieaviator.net/album_page.php?pic_id=13 you will see the bright yellow machine in the background.

 

Does anyone know anything about this plane?
