KR-2 WITH 90 HP FRANKLIN

would like some input from forum on the idea of mounting a Franklin 4ac-199-E engine on my KR-2. I can't find any research if it's been done, and I also worry about part's?? Any thought's guy's. Don

Some parts for the larger engines were difficult to get years ago. Weight and ACTUAL power might be a consideration. Southern Aero (Tulsa) may have the answers for you. Nev

Thank you.Nev I have the data plate it say's O-200-1 and from I can find out it's a 90 hp witch would be good for a KR-2 and I suppose weight is comparable to a Cont. 0-200. I'll try and contact Southern Aero. Thanks again. Don
