Flap limit speeds are structural. If you overspeed the high wing Cessna's with flap extended the top of the wing gets deformed. Other things could fail and possible fail assymetrically, which could produce an uncontrollable roll, in some designs. Nev

Thank you. I thought it would be structural but was not certain.

SOME flap SETTINGS have been excluded due handling trim change and drag considerations etc on some aircraft. On some large aircraft a certain flap setting is not available with a landing weight exceeding a stipulated weight. Nev
