I was in the ACT there at Syserston Notts in 1958 , My parents were given a photo of me on the runway, (the boy in shorts), when the V bomber flew over, It seemed very slow for a big jet. Does anybody have a copy of said photo for me. The BBC are doing an anniversary of the event I believe.

I remember the feeling well as they flew past at low altitude and the Db meter goes off the clock.

 

Your whole body and the ground seemed to viberate.

 

An awe inspiring feeling that lives on in one's memory.
