Have just downloaded oz runways, could someone assist me with setting up the weight and balance for a J230. It requires a lon and a lat data entry. Have done many W&B in the past but can't seem to get the correct data to create the envelope.

Have to modify for your own BEW and aircraft moment arm (will be close to this)

Lat is constant, I.e. No wing lockers or multiple wing tanks.

Ok, but from POH they give same limits at all weights?

Wouldnt that give square envelope?

For those trying to calculate W&B have you ever considered all that printed matter we must take on board.

How much does a page of B&W print weigh?

I decided to check it out. This an empty cartridge.

This is a new cartridge. We have 1200 pages of print weighing 32g. So I can confidently say that an average A4 page of print weighs 0.02666666667g.

I hope some find this helpful.

More than one aircraft has crashed due to their load of newspapers shifting in flight, or by erroneous calculations of newspaper weight or copies carried. Multiple numbers of sheets of paper are bloody heavy!
