allows remote monitoring of the sensors it is compatible with or the systems its compatible with (Arduino etc). Will let you remotely control and monitor basically anything in your house

You could...I was thinking if this is module based it would be very customizable...as simple as LCD readouts...with a change in modules a glass display...

Just got one. Dual core cpu, 1gb ram, 24gb storage, 7 inch screen, gps, bluetooth, wifi etc, with a keyboard/case, 5 cables & can run EasyVFR for $159.00. Chinese of course but does everthing it says on the tin with a 12 month warranty. Eat your heart out Ipad devotees.

I'm not familiar with EasyVFR. Does it offer australian charts and ERSA etc?

Yes. Has pretty much everything that ozrunways has but can run on any android platform, even your phone. Check out Arthur Marcels article in November Sportpilot.
