Millmerran plane fire

THE Queensland Fire and Rescue Service has extinguished a plane on fire at the Millmerran aerodrome.

 

Authorities were called to the aerodrome on the Millmerran-Cecil Plains Rd at 1.30pm by the plane's owner.

 

They arrived at the scene to find one of the plane's engines on fire.

 

Fire crews extinguished the blaze while another crew fought a small grassfire that had spread from the engine fire.

 

No one was injured in the incident.

 

Investigations are continuing.

Knowing how accurate the media is I reckon it could be any number at all.

I recall a coroner (or Judge) in a matter concerning a DH Drover ( a 3 engine plane) asking which wing had 2 engines on it?. This is one of the reasons I am sceptical of legal types dealing with technical matters, in the absence of technical experts being around to sort things out. Nev
