Councillors no to Tyabb Airfield Noise Law

Not a bad outcome, but I wonder why residents would think they can muffle aircraft noise below the legal level at their front gates?

The vocal locals have tried to squash activity at Tyabb for many years.

 

A few years ago, they took an appeal against airfield developments to VCAT and got slaughtered. The Tribunal told them they bought in the area knowing the airfield was there and no doubt bought at a commensurate discounted price and they could bite their bums!
