Toowoomba to get new airport

They just spent a truckload upgrading the current airport... also a bit of history there... I think the original location (or alternate) for the city airport once suggested was a similar location to this new one. Not sure it will be an easy road ahead for Wagners.

 

Who knows what the local politicians would be thinking...

 

Should be more airports and less trees everywhere IMHO

Well I drove around there this morning and there is already a SIGNIFICANT amount of money poured into the development of the area... new rail hub on the cards too I have been told. This will be a goer for sure I reckon.

Call me selfish, but, I'm not sure if I'd be happy about it.......... how much controlled airspace will they want for that?

I was thinking the same thing. Another airspace we cant use.
