Planned to spend a few days up at whitsundays last week but weather had us turning back at maleny VOR so overnighted in YRED, next day was CAVOK so took a trip up to Gympie to visit my mate Pete who instructs at the Rec. Flying Co (RFC) in Drifters and an antique J3 Cub. He suggested a trip up the coast past Cooloola Cove and Rainbow beach. Absolutely magic. Hope ya enjoy the pics.
