AD for ROTAX Engines

Just released by CASA/EASA (for certified engines).

 

The EASA document applies to certified engines, while the link below is the mandatory service bulletin for the non-certified versions, such as the 912ULS.

It's serious: "Non-compliance with these instructions could result in engine damages (sic), personal injuries, or death"

Seems to be for quite new engines, my old "5" serial number engine is not on the list. Good thing because I have more than 10 hours to get to Temora and back!

 

This probably won't apply to a whole lot of Australians. (But check to be sure, of course...)
