It's all in the timing!

I had to take a run up the Sunshine Coast today - real imposition with the weather we have been having:laugh:.

 

Meeting finished, I went and sat myself down on a bench at a little beach and tackled my sandwiches. All very pleasant, even took a quick photo to torment the office dwellers with - anyhow had only just tucked my camera away when an unusual engine sound caught my attention. I was still looking around to try and see what it was when a Mustang appeared around the headland in the photo, on its wingtip at not too many hundred feet - made my day I tell you:clap:. I'd have loved to have caught the photo, but the image is still clear in my imagination.

Know what you mean. I was driving past Tyabb one day when I heard that magnificent crackling sound.

 

Did a U turn and found it was Wicko running up his Yak 9, then the calico tearing sound of the engine as he took off and disappeared into the blue sky
