    I am a type 2 diabetic and have a Sport pilot license and own a Piper Cub I fly as a LSA.

     

    I enjoy flying my Cub a lot but would also like to fly other planes that are not LSA.

     

    So my question is has any type 2 diabetics passed a class 3 medical without a Special Issuance ( SI ) I would really like to get my private license but would hate to not pass the medical and lose my Sport pilot license.

     

    Anyone have like a pre medical exam to see if they would pass a class 3 ???
