I looked at the Kannad ones when I replaced my old 121.5 beacon and found the Australian made GMEs to be a better option. Longer battery life, longer warranty, cheaper and Australian. I think they were slightly heavier and slightly larger but were only talking 250gm or thereabouts so that wasn't a real issue.
