Question: How to research history of propellers

Can anyone please tell me how to go about researching the history of a couple of propellers.

 

A friend of mine has got two very old propellers & is keen to know their origins.

I have an old Sensenich prop inherited from my grandfather, I emailed the Sensenich Brothers factory with the serial number engraved on the back, turned out it was likely used on a pt-19 fairchild (1940 I think - will have to pull out the details again) which was used as a primary trainer in the USAAF

 

Perhaps find any such details and contact the manufacturer if tbey are still around
