Guest horsepower Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Hello, Has anyone had much experience with the MZ engines?The physical dimensions and weight of the MZ 202 would fit nicely in my Skyraider.I dont know much about them but I like the idea of not having a radiator hanging down below my fuselage as I would have with the 582.But on the other hand I know the 582 has a long track record. Guest Maj Millard Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 No MZ experience but I can tell you the latest 582 is a nice piece of gear. Run it in per the book, and go fly for 600 hrs at least. You can use the single 912 radiator, as it is suitable and does the job for the 582. (as recommended by our local Rotax dealer and it works.).....
