Take a look at MGL Avionics "enigma" system from South Africa, it features all of the above and a moving map GPS. Made by Rainier Lamers in Cape Town. Unsure if its available in Australia yet. Type in MGL "enigma".

Thanks for that Zulu1. In the Australian magazine "Recreational Aviation," in the Dec/Jan edition there is an advertisement for the Enigma. What I am showing interest in, is the ability to do nearly the whole set-up myself with assistance from from IT friends along with some pilots.

I personally dont like digital instruments but this kit is analogue on digital, I know that they are reasonably priced here (about ZAR 13-14k) and there are other toys that may be of interest in the range such as Ultra..I think he had a fascination with Bletchley Park..and hes a German !!

The Dynon 100 is available in Horsham and is being used by a few pilots.

 

What I am searching for is discussion/debate on Al Wicks ideas and what he has done to date. Can I suggest to those who thus inclined to go to his website and digest the material he has on HIS glass Panel. I like the what he is doing with built in safety.
