Going flying when it stops raining

Got s/h Jabiru 230D in mid February. Flew it down from Bundaberg with my pilot son

 

Anthony. Tried to get to Narromine but Jab could not rise from grass airfield after 13 ins

 

of rain in 3 days. Did get three or four local flights in between Easter and the May floods.

 

Still raining but hoping that sometime this month our airfield will be dry enough for a flight

 

to Lismore for some avgas.

 

This is a great internet sight.

 

I am flight planning from Palmers Island(Maclean) to Kununurra - any one suggest

 

suitable airfields (for avgas) and overnights during this planned excursion. tonyh.
