Question from newbie

Hi guys.

 

Good to be on the board. Just a quick question though. I'm wanting to do a bit of filming of a Viet Nam era chopper (Huey, Chinook, etc) in the air for a project I'm working on. Would anybody know of any upcoming air shows in NSW featuring one of these beauties airborne? Or even somebody who privately may be flying one of these that I could get a few snaps of?

I can't help you with a spare Heli, or Chinook to video... but I'm sure there will be someone around with some info for you.:thumb_up:

 

Are you doing the filming for you private pleasure, or do you do this sort of thing for a living..? (only if you don't mind me asking that is)

Yep, it's for a very low budget short film. Not exactly Apocalypse Now, but i still want to be as accurate as i can out of respect for those who served in Viet Nam.

 

Thought Anzac Day would bring a few out for flypasts and that, but not finding any info. Fingers crossed I'll luck out here.
